Get to know our colleague Petru Curosu, our Sales Team Leader EMEA. 😊 Petru loves sweets, especially pancakes with raspberry jam, as these reminds him of his childhood. 🥞

What makes you happy? How does this contribute to your well-being?

There are two things that make me very happy. The first one is gathering with my entire family to a dinner table and the second one is travelling. I am a very curious person and travelling offers you the opportunity of discovering new people/ places/ dishes.

What are the first three words you would describe yourself with? With which of these words do you think your friends would describe you?

I would say that I am a fast learner, responsible and punctual. I like to believe that my friends trust me to be the responsible one in our group, since I like to involve the most in serious matters and help them.

How did you end up getting your childhood nickname, who gave it to you, and what were your feelings towards it?

When I was a little boy I loved climbing trees, so at some point the neighbors called me th

e little Tarzan. I think it was really funny.

What taste or smell reminds you of childhood? Do you still encounter this taste or smell today and where?

The smell of pancakes with raspberry jam reminds me of my childhood and whenever we prepare them it takes me back to when I was very little.

What did you want to become when you were little? How did this desire come about? Do you still dream of becoming this?

I wanted to become an astronaut. I was always fascinated by the nigh sk

y and the mysteries of the universe. I like my job and now that I know it's not that easy to become an astronaut, I left it as a childhood dream.

What is the most beautiful place you have traveled to?

I really, really loved Barcelona. It has a very special vibe. However, I have many more astonishing destinations on my list such as Switzerland/ Bali/ Rio de Janeiro.

What is it that annoys you the most? What is the reason why it annoys you and how do you manage to calm down?

It really annoys me the fact that some people insist on their immoral ideas/thoughts and

don’t even want to analyze other options. I manage to calm down by explaining politely to them my point of view.

If you could have dinner with anyone in this world, who would that person be? What would you like to know from this person?

I would like to have dinner with Eminem. He is one of my favorite artists that marked my childhood. I would really love to ask him about the journey he made from an underground dreamer MC to a worldwide known artist, what challenges/difficulties he had, and if he would do it all over again.

If you ruled the world for a day, what would be the first thing you would do?

It depends. If I ruled the world for a day and have superpowers, I would do a ‘reset’ of our planet’s nature in terms of pollution and waste. If I would be just a normal person but with decision

power, I would make every state in the world to sign a document which would refer to a better protection of our planet’s nature.

What would you like people to say about you at your death?

I don’t really think about something like this. But probably I would like people to say ‘that he was a good men’.

If you were dating 7 years ago, what advice would you give? How do you think this advice would help you?

The only advise I would give to any youngsters who are starting their dating experiences is to be 100% honest, to be confident in themselves and to not pretend to be somebody else.

What is the principle that you never deviate from? How do you react when people do not respect this principle?

Well, I always try to treat people with respect. I mean we all should treat people in the same way we want to be treated. If someone doesn’t show you the same respect you are offering, then for sure they should be gone from your life.

What is your guilty pleasure and how does it make you feel?

I like a lot to eat all kind of different sweets. However, for the past half a year I tried to limit them and switch to healthier food choices.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Preferably, in a home outside the city, with a small garden, and 1-2 kids (I hope boys) which I would take to the football practice every day.

If you could eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?

It would probably be pizza. I’m not a big fan, but it can have so many different flavors, so this would give you some different tasting experiences.

If you had 2 minutes to sell a pencil for 1 million euros, how would you convince the potential buyer?

Ha ha. Nice question. I would say:

- I’ve heard someone propose to you a 10 million sponsorship contract if you sign it right away. Do you have a pencil to sign it?

- No.

- I can sell you one for just 1 million euros.

In the end we would like you to recommend us a book, a movie, a podcast and a holiday destination.

I can recommend a movie that I consider to be the best in the history of cinematography which is named ‘ The Shawshank Redemption’ and surprisingly not many people saw it, especially from the younger generation groups. As for a Holiday destination I would recommend Barcelona and Switzerland.
